Recycling requires an enormous amount of energy and resources in the collecting, transportation and manufacturing processes themselves. Traditional recycling, unquestionably, has a damaging carbon footprint.
Bioplastic or paper bags are the worst option.
Bioplastic doesn’t work. Producing, harvesting, and composting it leaves a higher carbon footprint petroleum and other conventional plastics. It’s a failed experiment.
